The 3 Things That Actually Matter
You don’t need to become a jade expert. You just need to know these three things.
Is it real?
Most jade sold online — even from established sellers — is Type B or Type C jade. Type B means it’s been acid-washed and injected with resin to improve color. Type C means it’s been dyed. Both treatments look beautiful in photos but fade over time, and neither holds the value of real stone.
Type A jade is untreated, undyed, and exactly as nature made it. Every piece I sell is genuine Type A Burmese jadeite — no treatments, no dyes, no exceptions. If a seller can’t confirm Type A explicitly, assume it’s treated.
Does it fit?
Most jade bangles on the market are sized for average or larger wrists — 55mm and up. If you have petite wrists, a standard bangle won’t sit right. It’ll spin, slide, or be impossible to put on without hurting yourself.
All JadeLuxe4petite sets are sized 50–54mm inner diameter, specifically made for petite hands and wrists. But you still need to measure before you order — your fit within that range matters.

Jade grades aren’t a ranking from “bad” to “good” — they’re a description of color depth and translucency. Grade A is genuine, natural, beautiful jade. Grade A++ is the same thing, just with exceptional color saturation and the kind of translucency that makes it look lit from within.
Your first set doesn’t have to be the most expensive one I carry. A Grade A set is still real, still Type A, and still stunning. The grade you choose depends on what you want to feel when you wear it — not on some hierarchy.

Which Grade Is Right for You?
Three honest paths, depending on what you’re looking for.

This is the best entry point, and "entry point" doesn't mean lesser jade. Grade A is genuine Type A jadeite with a vibrant, natural green color. It's the set you'll wear to work, to brunch, every day without thinking about it. This is the one most of my customers start with — and many never feel the need to go further.

This is a noticeable step up. The color is deeper and more saturated, and there's a richness to the stone that you can see in person even without a jeweler's eye. If you want to wear something that gets comments — at a family dinner, at a wedding, when someone looks at your wrist — this is it.

This is the finest jade I carry. Exceptional translucency — the kind where you hold it up to the light and it seems to glow from the inside. Heirloom quality. If you're buying something that's meant to outlast you, this is it. I hand-select these pieces carefully. There aren't always sets available at this grade.
